30 years ago the company´s founder Kamil Sarisen decided to go into business for himself in the field of home care. Shortly after a while he was so successful with products for home care, so that he decided to focus this segment.

After anti-decubitus-systems he took also home care beds and patient hoists into the portfolio.
Today aks presents itself as an internationally operating company with over 100 employees.

In december 2012 Kamil Sarisen constituted the foundation called “A heart laughs”. The intention was to give back to the life that he received so much from. To make more childrens´hearts laugh! It´s all about the children – from the start in the womb until the competition of their education.

At the same time Kamil Sarisen committed Murat Alioglu to the new ceo chief executive officer of aks GmbH.

The foundation is the shareholder of aks GmbH and it´s subsidiary aks pura GmbH.
